The Selfie Book

I had the opportunity to create a 336-page photobook from start to finish. The project involved curating a collection of images submitted via a photo contest, each of which required meticulous photo editing and retouching to ensure they were optimized for print production. Given that most of the photos were taken with smartphones, I applied advanced digital imaging techniques such as color correction and image optimization to enhance their quality for high-resolution printing.

In addition to the technical aspects of retouching and prepress work, I focused on maintaining a strong visual hierarchy and applying design aesthetics to the overall layout. The project demanded a keen eye for typography and composition, as well as a deep understanding of print design principles to ensure a polished final product. Throughout the process, I worked closely with the client to ensure the brand identity was communicated effectively across each page, providing a cohesive and engaging experience for the reader.
